Some spaces are now available if you'd like to start tuition.  Tuition can either be online or in-person at the tutor's home.

 

1:1 maths tuition

Most parents agree that 1:1 tuition is the best source of extra help outside the classroom, where the pace of learning is suited to the needs of the pupils and where they receive individualised help and support for maths.

 

Falkirk Maths Tutor offers affordable 1:1 maths tuition at a cost of £27 per hour.

 

Tuition can take place either online or in-person at the tutor's home at 18 Learmonth Street, Falkirk, FK1 5AG, which is near the town centre and Comely Park Primary School.  Parents are very welcome to stay in for the tuition lesson if they wish.

All level of maths are covered from Upper Primary and all Secondary School levels (S1, S2, S3, National 4, National 5, Higher Maths and Advanced Higher Maths, and GCSE Maths Higher Level).  The only level of maths not covered is Higher Applications of Maths.

­Qualifications

The tutor has a Scottish teaching qualification (PGDE) in Secondary School Mathematics, and is registered with the General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS).

Child Safety

The tutor has Enhanced Disclosure, and is a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme.  These documents are available for parents to view, and parents are also very welcome to stay in for the tuition lesson if they wish to do so.
